We strongly recommend you to read these terms and conditions very carefully. In here, both tenant and Casa De La Mar (hereinafter referred as CDLM) can find their rights and obligations. Reservation and payment means that you agree with these terms and conditions. The tenant should know that CDLM rents out holiday homes and apartments of private owners. This means a holiday home close with buildings, outdoor swimming pool, inventory, tools and all related matters. In some cases areas are closed for the tenants such as rooms, cabinets or garage.
A tenant means the person who has signed an agreement with CDLM.
CDLM represents the owner and is no further responsible then for the amount paid by the tenant during the rental period.
CDLM has the right to refuse or cancel bookings.
CDLM is not responsible in case of natural disaster, war, strikes, death of owners, etc. ..
Casa de la Mar
CDLM is not responsible for any damages or expenses suffered by the tenant, nor for any theft, damage or injury of any kind. CDLM is not responsible for any errors in the description of the holiday home or apartment mentioned on the Internet site.
Tenant
The tenant and his company are fully liable for the rented house, equipment and all belongings of the House and replace the damage caused by him without any discussion, by the replacement value. Any damage must be reported immediately to the administrator.
CDLM is also entitled to deduct it from the guarantee.
Establishment and inventory
The owner's home or apartment is decorated in his own taste, it is possible that the interior is different from the pictures on the website. The tenant is asked to comply with the house rules. When the owner gets complaints from his neighbours about noise made by the tenants, the administrator will inform the tenant and the tenant will immediately adapt his behavior. CDLM is entitled to ask the tenant to leave the holiday home without refunding the rent. It is not allowed to smoke in the houses or apartments, if any ashtrays are provided, they may only be used on the outdoor terraces.
Construction activities in the vicinity of the rented houses can not be foreseen by CDLM and CDLM can not be responsible for it.
Pets
Pets are only permitted with authorization of the owner before the renting period.
Pets do not belong in beds, sofas or swimming pools.
Pollution or damage will be charged by an additional fee.
Swimming Pool
CDLM nor the owner are responsible for accidents in or around the swimming pool. The renter is not allowed to operate the technical installation of the swimming pool. If you have any problems with water or heating and so on, the tenant shall immediately report this to the administrator.
Arrivals-departures
The arrival is provided from 4: 00 pm on the agreed arrival date.
Departure may not be later than 10: 00 (or on any other agreed time). The tenant should report himself 1 hour before arrival to the administrator. If the tenant arrives later than 21: 00, it is possible that he will be charged an extra fee of 25 €.
Contract and payment terms and conditions
At the time of booking a fee of 35 € shall be charged. These costs are per booking, no matter the number of persons and the stay period. To make a reservation you need to make the payment (50% of the rentalprice) via our system. This system is secure and safe for both parts. No later than 8 weeks before the beginning of the rental period, the balance will be transferred on the bank account of CDLM.
Cancellation conditions
In case of cancellation by the renter, 4 weeks before the scheduled date of arrival, the renter has to pay the full amount of the renting. If cancelled between 4 and 8 weeks before the scheduled date of arrival, he has to pay 75% of the total amount. In the event of a cancellation before the last 8 weeks of the scheduled date of arrival, he has to pay 50% of the renting fee. Cancellations must be done in writing by post or email to CDLM. The date of receipt of cancellation will be considered as time of cancellation. When you leave your accommodation before the end of the renting period, the entire sum will be charged.
Guarantee
A deposit of €500.00 per rental of a house and €200.00 for an apartment will be paid together with the balance. The amount of the guarantee may be different and is then mentioned on the reservation form. The deposit will be refunded within a period of 7 working days. Any damages or missing items from the properties will be deducted from the deposit.
Extra
The payment of the electricity will be credited at € 0.18 per kWh. This fee will be deducted of the guarantee. Gas will be credited per week. By extreme water consumption, extra costs will be charged. Very dirty houses will be charged extra and deducted as well from the guarantee as well.
Insurance
Make sure that you have a travel insurance, so that you are covered for damages to the house caused by yourself !!!!
By renting a villa from the higher price range or very luxurious furnishings, we may ask you to provide proof of your insurance.
Services
The amount for the services will be payed at the arrival. The price depends on your choice.
Your holiday home is clean at your arrival. It is obvious to leave it in the same condition after your holiday. All remarks about cleaning and inventory must be given immediately to the administrator.
When you leave the House
The dishwasher should to be empty and all the dishes must be clean in the cupboards
The garbage should be in the containers along the street
All the furniture will be put back as upon arrival.
The outdoor chairs and sun beds will be set back as upon arrival.
BBQ must be clean
The garden and the terrace must be free from waste.
